Tours are available every day from 10:00 am to 4:00pm or by reservation.
Reservations are recommended, but not required.
During the holidays, we ask that you please call ahead to ensure tours are available.
We politely ask that you leave your pet at home while touring our facility.
In the event that your pet is with you, we ask that he or she wait for you in the lobby. This is to ensure the health of your pet, as well as our current pet guests. Your pet will be supervised by one of our pet concierges until you are finished with your tour.
You may bring with your dog:
• Leash
• Collar
• Up to 3 toys in good condition (so we can observe if stuffing is consumed)
• Non-injectable medications
• Food and treats
The toys brought to The Pawington for your pet’s visit should be in good to new condition. This is to ensure the health of your dog, as our pet concierges can now keep track of the toy’s condition. If the toy has been chewed open, or parts are missing we will react as if these pieces have been ingested and will seek veterinarian attention for the safety of the pet, at the owner’s expense.
As of now, The Pawington does not accept injectable medications.
Any non-injectable medication must be brought in its original container, labeled with your pet’s name. You will need to fill out a medication administration form and sign off on the medication count and instructions left with your pet.
We ask that you bring your dog’s food from home in a Ziploc© bag(s). This amount should be pre-measured and it is recommended that (1) meal’s worth of food is placed in each bag. This is to ensure your pet receives the correct amount of food per meal to avoid an upset stomach. If the food is brought in a large Ziploc© bag, feeding instructions must be given to the pet concierge. Please make sure you bring enough food for the duration of your pet’s stay. If you do not bring in your own dog food, The Pawington offers house kibble for $3/day, up to three meals.
You do not need to bring in any dog bedding as each room comes with premium, orthopedic bedding.
All Items will be held in a cubby at The Pawington, so we ask that all your items do not exceed (1) large sized Ziploc© bag. You will be asked to sign off on all the items you bring in the day of drop off to ensure that all items are accounted for during your pet’s stay and at checkout.
You may bring in your cat’s:
• Cat carrier (required at check in and check out)
• Non-injectable medications
• Food and treats
We ask that you bring your cat’s pet carrier, as your cat will need to be in its carrier until it has arrived at its suite. This is for your cats and other pet guest’s safety.
